Two former ABC soap stars will be joining the cast of the digital series The Bay for its latest season this fall.

When The Bay premieres its new season on Popstar! TV in the fall, the soap will boast an impressive list of soap stars in its cast. As already announced, Jordi Vilasuso (ex-Rey Rosales, The Young and the Restless; ex-Dario Hernandez, Days of our Lives; ex-Griffin Castillo, All My Children) will join The Bay as a recast Justin Ramos. Now, news comes that two more former soap stars will be seen on the Emmy-winning digital soap.

Soap icon Darnell Williams has been cast in the recurring role of Dr. Josef Givens, and Michael Saucedo will play another recurring character, Officer Cruz.

Williams came to daytime fame in 1981 when he originated the role of Jesse Hubbard on All My Children. He won two Daytime Emmy awards for the role, one for Outstanding Supporting Actor and one for Outstanding Lead Actor. Williams brought Jesse to life until 1988, when the character was allegedly killed. In 2008, Pine Valley residents learned that Jesse had been alive for all those years when Williams made his AMC return.

Williams' AMC love interest was Debbi Morgan, who played Angie Baxter Hubbard. The two performers were reunited on The Young and the Restlees in 2012, where Williams played Sarge Wilder and Morgan played Harmony Hamilton.

Saucedo was known to daytime audiences as General Hospital's Juan Santiago, a character he brought to life from 1999 to 2001, and again briefly in 2013 and 2014. GH is also where Saucedo met his wife, Rebecca Herbst, who has played Elizabeth Webber since 1997. Saucedo is also an author and has written the Liberty Strong mystery series of books.

Other well-known soap stars who appear on The Bay include A Martinez, best known as Cruz Castillo on Santa Barbara; Mike Manning (ex-Charlie Dale, DAYS), and Patrick Muldoon (ex-Austin Reed, DAYS), who will make his debut during the new season.
